TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Niagara County Sheriff's deputies charged a 25-year-old Lockport with petit larceny Sunday night after Walmart employees say he stole $37.64 worth of razor blades.

Dustin T. Peace, 25 Evans St, was met by store security in the foyer of the store who observed the incident on the security cameras, according to the arrest report. Patrol came into contact with Peace while he was in the security office talking on the phone with his lawyer.

According to the arrest report, "while speaking on the phone with his lawyer, Peace freely admitted that he brought a bag into Walmart with him and that he did walk past the points of purchase in Walmart with the merchandise in the bag. This was recorded by patrol on the Taser Axon Camera. After Peace hung up with his lawyer he was placed into custody and read his Miranda warnings."

He was charged with and released on an appearance ticket for petit larceny pursuant to appear in the Town of Lockport Court this morning.
