TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 22-year-old Dysinger Road woman was charged this morning with petit larceny after Walmart employees say she left without paying for a shirt.
According to the report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, a Walmart employee said she witnessed a woman conceal two shirts in her purse and leave the store without paying for them. The suspect, who was later identified as Kelsi Kane, 6493 Dysinger Road, Apt. 10, had left the scene prior to patrol's arrival.
Kane was later apprehended and arraigned in Lockport Town Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail where $250 bail was placed upon her.
She is set to return to Lockport Town Court on July 3 to answer for the charges.
