ROCHESTER — The Greece Town PD has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 79 Talnuck Dr. in Rochester.
The child, Cassidy N. Geffert is a white female, approximately 16 years old with brown hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches and weighs about 145 pounds. Cassidy was last seen wearing Silky Pajama shorts.
The vehicle has been identified as a black four-door sedan 2006 SAAB with NY license plate number GMM9136. The vehicle was taken from the scene and is possibly heading to Ohio, according to police.
Geffert left a note for her parents indicating she was in danger. The note had blood on it and the victim's cell phone. The house was in disarray with a knife on the floor and a .38 caliber handgun taken from the home.
Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the Greece Town PD at (866) NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
