ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An employee from a Snyder Drive doctor's office noticed this morning that a door handle on one of the exam rooms was damaged and the lock was loose, a sign that the room had been broken into.
The employee of the Lockport Niagara Sleep Center, 5854 Snyder Drive, told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that there were no signs of forced entry to the outer doors of the business. She also stated that the front outer door was locked when she arrived this morning. The last time anyone from the office had seen the exam room undamaged was May 14 at 5 p.m.
A locksmith was called and found a small piece of metal inside the keyhole, however, that item was removed and discarded prior to patrol's arrival.
Employees said that four Instant Test Cups used for urine samples were missing. The cups were valued at $5.00 each.
East Niagara Post now publishes garage and yard sales.
