ENP STAFF REPORTS

SOMERSET — A Johnson Creek Road property owner reported this morning that an unknown person was on his property without permission.
The Williamsville resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that he owns 65 acres on Johnson Creek Road just north of Townline Road. He stated he has video surveillance on the property, and just before 9 a.m. on May 6, there was a white male dressed in camouflage walking near his cabin and shed located approximately 500 feet from the roadway.
The complainant said that the male appeared to be hunting turkey, however, he did not recognize the male and hasn't given anyone permission to be on his property, which has clearly posted "no trespassing" signs.
The property owner told patrol that he was going to speak with one of the neighbors to find out if they have any information and to keep an eye out for trespassers. He also stated he will continue to monitor his cameras, and will contact patrol if he can provide any additional information.
The investigation is closed pending new information provided by the complainant.
