OLCOTT — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating an assault that occurred early Sunday morning at Time Out II.
According to a report filed by NCSO, a 55-year-old Olcott man was outside the bar around 2:30 a.m. talking with a woman when an unknown male came up and the woman told the unknown male to leave. At that time, the unknown male grabbed the female's arm and the 55-year-old intervened, according to the report. The unknown male then struck the 55-year-old and they both fell to the ground. The male then struck the 55-year-old in the eye with a bottle.
The victim was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Newfane for treatment. He was then transferred to ECMC where he was told he had a fractured cheek bone.
