NEWFANE — A Ewings Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this morning that two males had stolen his daughter's bike.
The man said the two boys, who appeared to be between 15 and 18 years old, stole the bike around 7 p.m. Sunday while it was leaning against the back of John's Ultimate Auto, 6017 Ridge Road.
There was a camera which captured the larceny, the man said. "The video shows both males speaking with each other prior to the one male riding off with the bicycle, east bound on Ridge Road," according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office report.
"Patrol will locate the males, who appeared to live in the area and charges will be filed," according to the report.
The bicycle was believed to be a Huffy Mountain Bike, silver and purple in color, valued at around $200.
