LEWISTON — According to the New York State Police, the incident on West Lane in the village has ended and residents may resume normal activities.
Police have been tight-lipped over the incident but multiple media reports state that a man is in custody and no one has been harmed.
The man had called police this morning with a complaint but then refused to answer the door when police arrived. State Police and Lewiston Police evacuated West Lane and asked residents on nearby streets to stay away from the area.
