NEWFANE - A 20-year-old Barker woman found herself in Niagara County Jail early this morning after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies say she yelled obscenities when they tried to break up a fight.
Ashley L. Manning, 1612 Johnson Creek Road, Barker, was charged with disorderly conduct shortly after midnight for being uncooperative and belligerent, according to a report filed by NCSO.
Manning had been arguing with another female on the sidewalk in front of 2850 South Main St., when patrol arrived at around 11:53 p.m. While patrol was trying to interview the other female, Manning became verbally abuse towards patrol, according to the report filed, yelling, "I hope your children get raped," among other things.
She was arrested and remanded to the jail in lieu of $100 bail. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Newfane Court on June 3.
East Niagara Post now publishes garage and yard sales.
