Lockport Police have charged a 28-year-old man in the case of the assault Tuesday at the Chestnut Street Laundromat.
Lemuel L. Hardy Jr., 25 Adam St., was arrested around 12:30 p.m. and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree criminal sexual act.
He is accused of exposing himself to a female and punching her in the face and head shortly after noon Tuesday, then fleeing. He is being held until his arraignment, scheduled for Monday.
