Sometime over the weekend four tires and wheels were stolen off two Honda Accords at the West Herr Honda dealership on South Transit Road.
According to a report by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, an employee of Honda explained that he noticed the tires and wheels missing at 9:30 this morning and last noticed them on the vehicles around 5 p.m. on Saturday.
"Patrol observed a tan Honda Accord missing both passenger side tires and wheels, propped up on a cinder block next to a grey Honda Accord also missing both driver side wheels and tires and propped up on a cinder block," the report said.
Twenty lug nuts scattered around the area where the tires and wheels were taken were collected and placed into an evidence bag. The case remains open and will be forwarded to CIB.
The tires and wheels had a value of $2,637, according to the Sheriff's report.
