The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for today, through 7 p.m., with wind gusts expected to reach up to 50 mph.

"Winds of this magnitude could bring down some tree limbs and power lines and result in isolated power outages," the weather service stated. "Travel may be difficult in high-profile vehicles."

The near-40-degree highs, however, couple with the wind should help to dry things out a little bit. Overnight offers a low of 23 and a chance of snow.

Sunday offers a mostly sunny high of 31 and a low of 15 with a chance of snow. Monday forecasts a high of 21 and a low of 12 with more snow possible. Tuesday more snow is possible with a high of 22 and a low of 12.

Wednesday is expected to have a high of 16 and a low of only 4 degrees, followed by a similarly cold Thursday with a high of 17 and a low of 0 degrees.
