A 24-year-old Albion man was arrested Friday and charged with stealing $400 from a fellow employee of J.T. Precision Company, 8701 Haight Road, Somerset.

According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, an employee had approximately $500 in his wallet inside an unlocked locker. Around 4 p.m. Friday, he found that $400 of it was stolen.

The report states that a new employee at the business, Jacob Marks, of 3060 Allens Bridge Road, Albion, admitted to both the company owner and NCSO, that he took the money. He was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear at the Town of Somerset Court on March 20.
