Titanium Demolition and Remediation Group, headquartered in the Town of Lockport IDA Park, was awarded a $1.6 million contract to demolish two buildings at the Harriman State Office Campus in Albany.
State Sen. George Maziarz (R-Newfane) announced the deal on Wednesday made between Titanium and the State Comptroller's Office to raze Building 1 and Building 1A on the state office campus.
“I am very glad that this local company has been chosen to help transform state government buildings in our capital to better serve New Yorkers," Maziarz said in a press release. "Titanium has a great reputation and they have done projects all over the country."
According to Maziarz, the structures being razed have been vacant since 2005 and are being removed to create a staging area for new business services center.
Titanium, owned by Anthony Bodami, has more than 100 combined years of commercial and industrial demolition and environmental experience, according to their website.
