The Col. William Bond House, a site on the National Register of Historic Places, is fully decorated for Christmas.
Open to the public for the last two weekends, the Christmas-themed decorations will be available for viewing for the last time this year on Saturday.
Each room in the home is decorated for Christmas. In fact, there is at least one Christmas tree in every room of the house, including the kitchen.
This historic house was built between 1823 and 1824 by Col. Bond. It later became the home of Jesse Hawley, whose letters helped to inspire the building of the Erie Canal. It is now owned and maintained by the Niagara County Historical Society.
