Rohan Purville
TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- New York State Police have charged a 39-year-old Lockport man with public lewdness following an appeal for help made last week.

According to NYSP, Troopers were investigating a subject that committed a lewd act at Walmart in the Town of Lockport on Nov. 15. Saturday, they charged Rohan G. Purville with public lewdness after he turned himself in to authorities.

No further details were made available by police.

TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- New York State Police are investigating a male subject who reportedly committed a lewd act at Walmart on South Transit Road between 12:25 and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to NYSP, the black male was driving a gray Honda Pilot with a blue and white New York State registration.

Anyone with information are asked to call State Police at 434-5589.

A 58-year-old High Street man, accused of exposing himself to a woman earlier this week, was charged with public lewdness by LPD.

William L. Ribbeck, 251 High St., Apt. 1, had exposed himself to a woman while standing in his doorway around 2 a.m Monday, according to LPD.

He was reported to be completely naked and masturbating while staring at the woman passing by. He opened the door and invited the woman inside, which she refused before calling police. When police arrived, he was still standing in the doorway masturbating. As patrol approached, he quickly shut and locked the door. He turned off all the lights and refused to answer the door.

He was charged around 8:36 p.m. Wednesday with public lewdness. He was arrested without incident.

Michael Stretch
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Norwood Drive man was charged late Sunday night with second-degree harassment and public lewdness.

According to the report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Michael A. Stretch, 52, 1274 Norwood Dr., exposed himself to a neighbor around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

The report said that Stretch was in his bedroom with his blinds open, in full view of the complainant, who said that "this has been an ongoing event" and that Stretch will either stand at the window or sit on his bed naked with the blinds open.

Stretch was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Niagara County Jail on $250 bail. He is due in the Town of Lockport court to answer the charges on July 10.
