Lockport Express forward Dylan Jenkins was honored today by the NA3EHL with a mention among those the league considered its players of the week.
Jenkins was joined by Mathieu Beaudet, goaltender for the Wilkes-Barre Miners; Brandon Corey, forward for the Roc City Royals; and Raymond Rowe, defenseman for the Syracuse Stampede in receiving an honorable mention in the league's Western Conference. Roc City Royals defenseman Aidan Conolly was awarded the league's second star, while Frederic Ampleman, forward for the Jersey Shore Wildcats, was the star of the week.
The Express have the coming weekend off before returning to Cornerstone CFCU Arena on March 5 and 6 to close out the regular season against the Syracuse Stampede. Lockport needs one point from those two games to secure a spot in the NA3EHL playoffs.
