ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
APPLETON -- Marjim Manor is offering a number of reasons to get out of the house this January, including paint, crafts, books and even ghosts.
Jan. 12, the winery will hold a taste and paint session with Terri Seddon beginning at 7 p.m. The two-hour class will guide patrons through the creation of a snow covered landscape -- and there's wine. Cost is $40 per person.
Jan. 17, the winery will hold a craft class to make a fine art stenciling on a wooden box. The 2 p.m. class is $20 per person, which includes refreshments.
From Jan. 18 through Feb. 15, the winery will hold its third-annual book sale. Anyone who purchases a book during the sale will be given a complementary wine tasting, assuming they're 21 or over.
A Paranormal Workshop will be held Jan. 24. Psychic Medium Ivy Rivera will hold a workshop to
explain who, what, when, where and why we believe in various hauntings. Class is $30 and includes refreshments. After class, Rivera will be available for private readings for an additional cost.
For more information on any of these events or to purchase tickets, go to
www.MarjimManor.com or call 778-7001.
