Born in Lockport on July 15, 1958, she was the daughter of Patricia E. (Wheeler) Fritz and the late Gerald R. Wheeler. Rita loved riding motorcycle with her husband.
Rita is survived by her husband Denis Corbeil; mother of Gerald Ward of Lancaster, NY and Dawn-Marie Corbeil of Lockport; Amazing grandmother of Theresa, Kaydince, Kiara, Desire’ and Gabe; beloved sister of Anna, John, Juanita, Sandra and Tricia. She was a wonderful aunt and great aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Beside her father, Rita is also predeceased by her son Thomas P. Ward.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
