Many experts on Dyngus Day list Buffalo as the number one place to celebrate the Polish holiday.

Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul is spending today celebrating by marching in a pair of Dyngus Day parades in Western New York.

The first parade is taking place currently on Ridge Road in Lackawanna. The second takes place around 5 p.m. on Broadway in Buffalo

Locally, many bars will celebrate Dyngus Day with polish food and beer, including Josie's Place on West Avenue and The Ski Lodge on Niagara Street — both Polish-owned bars.
