Latta, Donald J. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday April 25, 2015 at home.

Born on January 20, 1939 in St. Thomas, Ontario, he was the son of James Donald and Naomi Beattie Latta. Don was a retired pipefitter from Harrison Radiator, a member of Chapel at Crosspoint in Getzville and involved in many volunteer programs. He and the former Carol Wolters, were married on June 20, 1959.

Surviving is Don's wife of 56 years, Carol Wolters Latta; his son, Michael JamesLatta and loving daughter-in-law, Bonnie Latta; cherished granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Latta; brothers, Douglas (Gina) Latta, Dennis (late Shirley) Latta and David (Mary) Latta; sister-in-law, Janice (late Peter) Scotch and several nieces, nephews and many loving Chapel friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday 3:00 - 7:00 PM at LANGEFUNERALHOME, INC., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be private. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Niagara Hospice, Inc.
