news@eastniagarapost.com
Two South Transit Street men and a John Street woman were charged Sunday night with endangering the welfare of a child after Lockport police say they were smoking marijuana in the presence of a two-year-old.
Police were dispatched around 8:50 p.m. to 36 S. Transit St. for a report of people doing drugs in the presence of a child. When they got there, they found Edward K. Washburn, 36, and Robert E. Washburn, 33, and Deanna M. Gibson, 25, all of different apartments at 36 S. Transit St.
Robert Washburn answered the door and admitted to patrol to having marijuana, a grinder and a scale.
All three were charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Robert Washburn was also charged with fifth-degree possession of marijuana.
All are due in City Court this morning.
