Josiah Chandler, the Genesee Street man charged with shooting Colton Baker-Durst three times in the back, waived a preliminary hearing this morning in City Court, sending his case to a Niagara County Court Grand Jury.

Represented by the Public Defender's Office, Chandler appeared before City Court Judge Bill Watson in a light blue jump suit and handcuffs.
The 18-year-old is currently facing second-degree attempted murder charges as well as first-degree assault and second degree criminal possession of a weapon for the Wednesday morning shooting of Baker-Durst, who remains in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center.
