TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An unknown male and an unknown female walked out of Walmart Friday morning with with a faceplate and a remote for a car stereo, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

The male removed the faceplate and remote from a car stereo box and then placed them in his pants pocket while in the presence of the female shortly after 11 a.m.. The pair then exited the store and got into a silver vehicle, leaving the property.

The suspects were both caucasian and approximately 30 years of age. The female appeared to have black hair and to be approximately five-foot, seven-inches and 150 pounds. The male appeared to have black hair and be approximately five-foot, 10-inches and 150 pounds with a neatly groomed beard.

The stereo is unable to be sold with missing parts causing the total loss to be $107.96, according to Walmart employees.
