David W. Goffin
WILSON — A 46-year-old resident of the Village mobile home park in the Town of Lockport was charged Monday night with DWI after a traffic stop on Beebe Road in Wilson.

According to the report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, David W. Goffin, 6035 S. Transit Road, was traveling 82 mph in a 55 mph zone when he was spotted by Sheriff's deputies around 9:30 p.m.

When he was pulled over, Goffin displayed signs of intoxication and told patrol he had had "four or five beers." He then failed field sobriety tests, according to the arrest report.

"Goffin refused to take the road side alco-sensor and was subsequently placed into custody," according to the report, which also said he refused to take a chemical test.
