The Lockport Police Department is looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run driving accident that happened Saturday on Chestnut Street, according to the department's Facebook page.
The department released the following statement:
The Lockport Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Saturday Feb 22 at about 3 a.m. on Chestnut Street. A pedestrian was found lying unconscious in the road. Car parts left at the scene indicate the vehicle that fled the scene may be a 2003 - 2004 Ford Explorer. Anyone with information may contact the Lockport Police at 433-7700.
