Buffalo man arrested for Lockport larceny

New York State Police arrested a Buffalo man today and charged him with stealing more than $1,000 worth of items from a Lockport home.

Steven J. Mouery, 40, of Gallatin Street in Buffalo was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing money, video games, jewelry and a cell phone from a Lockport home on Sunday. The police report states that he sold the items in Buffalo.

Mouery was arraigned before Town of Lockport Justice Cheryl Ankowiak and remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.  He is scheduled to return to Town of Lockport court on Feb. 20.
