Whalen exhibit opens at ART247

An exhibit of Joe Whalen art privately owned by his close friend Paul Hunt  -- including many works not seen publicly for decades -- opened Saturday at ART247.

The exhibit, which runs through May 22, is free to view in the art center, however donations are encouraged with proceeds to benefit the Joseph Whalen Foundation, founded by Joseph's wife Kathleen Whalen to support local art scholarships -- and the Joseph A. and Kathleen M. Whalen Gallery at ART247.
