ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Evans Bank has received regulatory approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish banking services on Transit Road.
The new location represents Evans first banking location in Niagara County and 14th overall in Western New York. A May opening is anticipated.
The new financial center will offer full-service banking, insurance, and wealth management services and feature modern and convenient banking technologies, including the bank’s second Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), a cash recycler, and drive-thru ATM services. In addition to its current insurance associates, the branch will be staffed by Universal Bankers and operated without a traditional teller line.
In December 2015, Evans relocated its insurance office within Lockport to 5688 South Transit Road. The addition of banking services will further enhance the insurance location by offering customers a better way to meet their financial goal with a local, full-service community banking choice from an organization that is 100% focused on Western New York.
