The Lockport Family YCMA will offer Winter Recess activities for all boys and girls ages 5-12, in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Parents can choose between YMCA Holiday Fun Club programs during the school vacation week at the YMCA in downtown Lockport or at Starpoint's Fricano Primary School in Pendleton, although Feb. 15 -- President's Day -- only the Lockport location will be open.
Holiday Fun club is a full day of activities including gym games and athletics, crafts, swimming, snacks, walking trips, music and guest speakers. Holiday Fun club is an opportunity for children whose parents need to work or an opportunity for parent’s who want their children to be busy, happy and safe with fun supervised activities.
The program is offered every day when school is not in session from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with early arrival beginning at 7 a.m. and late pickup available until 6 p.m. Participants may attend one day or the entire vacation.
The program requires advance registration and space is limited. Each child should dress to participate, including sneakers and bring a bag lunch, swim suit and towel.
