BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Daniel Catenacci from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Catenacci (5’9”, 191 lbs., 3/9/1993) will be joining the Sabres for his first career recall. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has 16 points (7+9) in 36 games for the Amerks this season, and his seven goals are tied for the second-highest total on the team.
Selected by Buffalo in the third round (77th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Catenacci is currently riding a five-game point streak for Rochester. In 182 career games for the Amerks, he has 68 points (33+35) and 123 penalty minutes.
