The winners of Lockside Art Center's first exhibition of the year, "LANDSCAPES!" have been announced.

Winners are: Viewers’ Choice, Joan Shaw for "Baer Road Barns;" Best in Show, Don Little for "Mid-Winter;" Second-Place Dennis Scherer for "Nature in Disguise;" and two Third-Place winners, Cynthia Cotten for "Serenity," and Paul Martin for "Springville Barn."

The exhibition features paintings and photography by Western New York artists including Joe Bucolo, Karen Carlton, Cynthia Cotten, Dan Curr, Maggie Eaton, Phil Eaton, Thomas Fitzrandolph, Kristine Gazzo, Don Little, Paul Martin, Manning McCandlish, Nona McQuay, Doug Mess, Mike Miller, Joan Shaw, Dennis Scherer, Mark Tollner, and Mike Weber.

The center is located at 21 Main Street at Pine, suite 208, in downtown Lockport, and is open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and by appointment, which can be made by calling 478-0239).

Forty-three pieces of art are on display including photographs, oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor, and copper.
