ENP STAFF REPORTS

HAMBURG -- Evans Bank has submitted an application to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish banking services at 5688 South Transit Road.
Subject to regulatory approval, the proposed financial center would represent Evans Bank’s 14th bank location in Western New York and the first in Niagara County.
“Adding banking services in Lockport will expand our footprint into Niagara County and offer customers a local, full-service community banking choice from an organization that is 100% focused on Western New York,” said David J. Nasca, President and CEO of Evans Bank. “This move will also enhance our existing insurance location and help many more Western New Yorker’s meet their financial goals.”
The proposed financial center will offer full-service banking, insurance, and wealth management services and feature modern and convenient banking technologies, including the bank’s second Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), a cash recycler, and drive-thru ATM services. Evans is targeting a spring opening.
In December 2015, Evans relocated its insurance office within Lockport to 5688 South Transit Road.
