TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A Fernwood Drive resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Dec. 30 that someone went through his car while it was parked in his driveway the prior day.
According to the NCSO report, released Tuesday, the man doesn't believe he locked his car when he parked it at 8 p.m. on Dec. 29. When he got back in it at 2 p.m. Dec. 30, "he noticed that it appeared someone had gone through his car."
The man said that mail that had been unopened "was now opened and thrown around," but told patrol that it didn't appear that anything was taken.
