TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- An investigation following a bicycle theft resulted in charges for a 16-year-old boy.
According to New York State Police, the teen was charged with fifth-degree possession of stolen property.
On Monday, a Kink Whip Men’s bicycle was taken from a residence the Town of Lockport. An investigation revealed the bicycle was seen in the South Transit area and the suspect residence was checked. A recently spray painted bicycle frame with the matching serial number was located.
The teen's name was not released.
