BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned defenseman Mark Pysyk and goaltender Robin Lehner to the Rochester Americans (AHL) for conditioning stints.
Lehner has been out since the team's season opener but returned to practice with the Sabres last week.
Pysyk, meanwhile, has been out for the Sabres last 21 games due to a bone bruise.
