TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A 27-year-old Lockport man was charged Sunday with DWI and speeding after he was stopped by New York State Police on South Transit Road.
According to police records, Jason C. Wagner was administered and failed the standardized field sobriety tests when Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his vehicle.
Wagner was transported to the Lockport Troopers barracks for processing which revealed a .08 percent blood-alcohol content.
He is due to return to Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
