I just have to say that I've had it with Rural Niagara Transportation.

I've gotten used to them being 15 minutes early or late and I've forgiven that because traffic is what it is. But this time, the driver of the 2D route just decided that he was finished for the night and didn't finish his route. He was supposed to stop at the Locust Street shelter at 6 p.m. and then proceed to NCCC. I waited with my friend, who needed to go home to the Falls, at the bus stop from 5:35 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. when I called the company and complained about the bus being late. I was told that the driver was finished for the night and that there was nothing they could do and if I wanted to I could call in the morning and complain to the supervisor.

I've never seen unprofessionalism on a level such as this before from any company in my life. A bus driver abandons his route and all the company say is sorry?! They didn't even attempt to make anything right at all. I ended up having to pay $35 for a cab to take my friend to the NCCC bus stop so they could catch the Metro bus back to the Falls.

I can't believe these are the feeble hands that NFTA has left us in after canceling the 55L.

  1. At that time in the evening that bus does not stop on Locus Street. The bus stops on 31 {Main} and Locust. Please check the schedules for all the buses that go there on Locust and you will see the times that they stop there.
