Appleton -- A 64-year-old man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that he is the victim of multiple scams.
The man said that he has been scammed on three separate occasions by unknown callers stating that he has won a sweepstakes, most recently on Jan. 11.
The man called NCSO to report the incidents, telling patrol that he previously gave the caller some personal information.
The complainant said that he also called his bank and closed his bank accoutn prior to having lost any money.
Patrol advised the man to not provide any personal information over the phone in the future.
