ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through midnight throughout Niagara and Orleans counties.
The weather service says scattered snow showers and freezing drizzle may make travel difficult.
Temperatures in the upper 20s, winds of 15 to 20 mph, reduced visibility and snow accumulation of an inch or less is likely, however it's the "light ice accumulations" that are behind the advisory.
"Untreated roads may become slick," the weather service says. "Only a small bit of freezing drizzle can make travel tricky."
