ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A man emptied 15 boxes of 5-Hour Energy Drinks into his coat on Sunday and walked out of Walmart without paying for them, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Walmart's security manger called NCSO to report the theft after someone pointed out that there were 15 empty boxes of the products on shelves. Each box contained 10 drinks.
The security manager checked video footage and found that the person who took the items was a known entity -- and one that had been banned from the store in March.
Patrol submitted a warrant request to the Town of Lockport Court for petit larceny and trespassing.
