Kathryn A. Vanderlinde of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday December 6, 2015 in Elderwood at Lancaster.

Born on January 6, 1923 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Carlos and Veronica Kelsch Cavagnaro. She was retired from the Personnel Department of Harrison Radiator and a longtime member of St. Mary’s RC Church.

Beloved wife of the late William A. Vanderlinde, Sr., she was the devoted mother of children, Nancy Vanderlinde of Williamsville, William (Ginger) Vanderlinde, Jr. of OH and Jayne (Michael) Cash of NC; adoring grandmother of Colin Cash, Mary Kate Cash, Claire Vanderlinde and Julia Vanderlinde and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Cavagnaro, Richard Cavagnaro, Marjorie Harrington, Aloysius Cavagnaro and Joseph Cavagnaro.

Friends may call on Friday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 PM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Please assemble at church.

Katie's family is grateful for the help and support shown by many over the last several months and in lieu of flowers, would like for everyone to show their love and respect by practicing random acts of kindness. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
