For the second week in a row, Lockport Express forward Frank Vecchio Jr. was given an honorable mention by the NA3EHL as one of the league's Stars of the Week.
Also honored by the league this week was Express forward Jordan Pocobello.
Vecchio had one goal and was +1 in the pair of games he played against the Jersey Shore Wildcats in New Jersey last weekend. Pocobello had two goals and an assist in the three-game series.
Syracuse Stampede forward Hunter Soden had the league's top honors for the week, while Jersey Shore Wildcats forward Frederic Ampleman was given the league's second star. Other honorable mentions went to New York Aviators Forward Daniel Backstrom, Wildcats forward Christian Cooley, Stampede goaltender Kyle VanWagner, and Aviators forward Jimmy Warrick.
Lockport takes on the Roc City Royals in Rochester at 7 p.m. Saturday and again at 3 p.m Sunday. The Express are currently in fourth place in the NA3EHL Western Conference, a point ahead of Roc City and a point behind Syracuse.
