TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has received reports of vehicles and garages being entered in the Carlisle Gardens and advises residents to secure their vehicles and garages.
The Sheriff's Office also asks vigilant residents to contact the Niagara County Sheriff's Office at 716-438-3393 for non-emergencies or dial 9-1-1 for an emergency if they see something suspicious.
They also issued safety tips to help prevent people from being victimized.

- Lock your vehicle
- Remove valuables including laptops, cell phones, sunglasses and GPS systems
- Do not store valuables in the trunk
- Report thefts immediately.
