TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A 35-year-old Lockport man was charged early Monday morning with driving while intoxicated while in the parking lot of a South Transit Road car dealership.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Brian W. Bailey, 72 Lewis St., was found around 12:24 a.m. sleeping in his vehicle with the headlights on in the parking lot of the Nissan dealership on South Transit Road. Patrol knocked on the window several times, waking Bailey up and asking him to turn the vehicle off and step out, which he did.
