A 19-year-old Lockport man was charged Tuesday with criminal possession of a controlled substance after police found marijuana on him while he was being taken into custody on a warrant.
According to New York State Police, Cedrick J. Luke, had approximately one gram of marijuana in a small clear plastic baggie while he was being taken into custody.
Luke was remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $500 bail on the original warrant. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court for the warrant on Dec. 3 and on Dec. 9 for the marijuana ticket.
