Harriet E. Wood Bauer passed away November 16, 2015 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.

Born in Lockport on June 17, 1931 she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Ellis) Wood. Harriet worked for the Lockport YMCA where she was in the maintenance department and also was a school bus monitor.  She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and meeting new people.

Harriet is survived by her husband David Bauer of Lockport; mother of Sandra Sims, Vanessa (Arthur) Harris, Sherry (Norman) DuBois, Kenneth (Jeanette) Powers, Star (Kent) Huth, Roxanne (John) Powers, Kevin Powers, the late Charles Powers and Roland Powers; grandmother of twenty-three, great grandmother of fifty, and great-great grandmother of eight; sister-in-law of James R. Bauer.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, Nov. 20th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21st at 10 AM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
