ROCHESTER -- Lockport Express goaltender Sal Stalteri stopped 49 shots en route to a shutout victory over the Roc City Royals tonight.
Ryan Logar netted a pair of goals and Justin Durkee had two assists in the game, which Lockport won 5-0.
Devin Kasperek grabbed Lockport's first goal at 11:39 of the first period, assisted by Justin Durkee.
Ryan Logar scored the next two goals -- both in the second period. His first was a power play goal 3:00 into the period, assisted by Durkee. His second was unassisted at 16:00.
In the third period, Joseph Como made it 4-0 Lockport at 3:12, assisted by Jenkins. Frankie Bodami closed out the scoring at 15:57.
Lockport, now 10-9-4, hold a 3-point lead over Roc City for fourth place in the NA3EHL Western Conference. The Express remain a point behind the Syracuse Stampede for the third-place slot. Syracuse beat the Jersey Shore Wildcats tonight 5-3. They're only the second team to beat Jersey Shore this year.
Lockport and Roc City face off again at 3 p.m. Sunday.
