ROCHESTER -- The Lockport Express dropped the second of two road games to the Roc City Royals Sunday afternoon.

The Express scored first and had the lead halfway through the game, but three unanswered goals by Roc City sealed the deal against Lockport, who are now 10-10-4 on the season and remain one point ahead of Roc City for the fourth spot in the NA3EHL West.

Justin Durkee started the scoring at 11:11 of the first period with a short-handed Lockport Express goal, assisted by Frankie Bodami. Roc City scored just 22 seconds later to tie the game on the power play. Zach Bucholz and Jared Tam-Grimshaw assisted on the Cameron Clark goal. Aidan Conolly made it 2-1 Royals at 13:48, assisted by Sam Cammilleri.

Christopher Gasiewicz scored a pair of goals in the second period to put Lockport back on top 3-2. The first, scored at 11:26, was assisted by Durkee and Erick Santiago. The second Gasiewicz goal came at 16:06, assisted by Ryan Logar and Dylan Jenkins. The lead was somewhat short-lived, however, as Anthony DePetres tied the game for Roc City at 17:13, assisted by Matt Corey. Brandon Corey then put Roc City back up with a goal with just 15 seconds remaining in the second period. Bucholz and Anthony DePetres tallied assists.

Brandon Corey scored again at 4:06 of the third period, assisted by Conolly and Matt Corey for the 5-3 final.

Lockport had defeated Roc City 5-0 Saturday night.

The Express do not play a league game this coming weekend as the league has a Thanksgiving break. However, the team can be seen in action as part of an inner-team scrimmage game during Hockey Day in Lockport at 7 p.m. Saturday.
