Burton C. "Bud" Kinyon of Barker, NY husband of the late Jennie "June" Hixon  Kinyon entered into rest Wednesday, November 4, 2015.

He was born in the Town of Hartland, NY September 29, 1920, the son of the late Bert and Rose Springer Kinyon. He served in the US Army during WW II from 1943 - 1946. Bud worked for Harrison Radiator for 33 1/2 years, retiring in 1974. He was member of West Somerset Baptist Church where he was very active in church activities, he also was a member of Barker American Legion Post and Somerset Historical Society.

Father of Mary June (Richard) Acer of Appleton, NY, Judi (Darwin) Cummings of Barker, NY, Patricia (Randall) Wayner of Barker, NY, Donald (Sue) Kinyon of Virginia and the late Chris Kinyon. Twin brother of the late Betty Malcolm. Brother of the late Anna Judd, Donald Kinyon, Beulah Kinyon, Harriet Young, Dorothy Daunce and Ruby LeVan. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY MONDAY 2 - 4 AND 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY at 10:00 AM in West Somerset Baptist Church 1876 Hosmer Road Appleton, NY 14008. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials to West Somerset Baptist Church or Barker Fire Department 1660 Quaker Road Barker, NY 14012.
